Day 1 - Dissay-sous-Courcillon.
Arrival at the end of the afternoon in le Prieuré.
Dinner at the restaurant opposite.
1st night at le Prieuré.

Day
2 - Dissay -> Dissay 65 Km
Day of relaxation at le Prieuré or The proposed itinerary takes
you to Couture where you can visit the Manor house of La Possonière,
where the poet Ronsard was born, and to the craft village of Poncé.
Then the route runs alongside the vineyards of Coteau des Jasnières
and across the forest of Bercé, with oak trees several hundred
years old.
Dinner at the restaurant opposite.
2nd night at le Prieuré.

3 - Dissay -> Durtal 68 Km
Today's route winds through apple orchards and leads you to Rotrou Mill,
where you will meet Ginette, the former miller. In Le Lude, you can visit
the château with its richly furnished rooms and its gardens alongside
the Loir.
Dinner and 3rd night bed and breakfast au chäteau.
: We especially like: A majestic driveway through the beautiful forest
surroundings leads to this hunting lodge, transformed over the years into
a delightful 18th century style château. You will love walking in
the grounds with their formal gardens.
Day 4 - Durtal -> Durtal 74 Km
Day of relaxation at château de Chambiers or Today's route will
enable you to discover the "cités de caractère"
of Asnières-sur-Vègre and Parcé-sur-Sarthe".
If you are in Solesmes at 5 pm, don't miss a visit to the abbey to attend
sung mass with Gregorian chant!
Dinner and 4th night at the same place.
Day
5 - Durtal -> Seiches 55 Km
The itinerary goes through La Flèche, a charming small town on
the banks of the Loir where you can visit the Prytanée National
Military Academy, founded by Henry IV. And the zoo offers an exotic verdant
setting. En route, you go through the village of Les Rairies which has
made its living, since the Middle Ages, from transforming clay.
Dinner and 5th night at Domaine de Bré.
: We especially like: at the heart of a national forest covering 400 hectares,
Brigitte and Eric welcome you for dinner and the night in their elegant
house, built in 1850, in quiet and relaxing surroundings near a river.
Day
6 - Seiches -> Seiches 62 Km
Day of relaxation at Domaine de Bré or Today's route goes through
Château du Plessis Bourré, Only 10 Miles North of Angers,
where the Minister of Finance and principal confidant of King Louis XI
built in the 15th century this elegant fortress. Other place to see: "Maison
the la Ricière" in Châteauneuf-sur-Sarthe, on the banks
of the river Sarthe.
Dinner and 6th night at Domaine de Bré.

7 - Seiches-sur-le-Loir
End of the program after breakfast.
